OFOR research addresses agricultural commodity markets’ critical challenges through state-of-the-art methods.

Our research has produced around 480 scientific articles published in top field journals (i.e., American Journal of Agricultural Economics, Journal of Agricultural Economics, Energy Economics, European Review of Agricultural Economics, European Journal of Operational Research, and Agricultural Economics). Since its inception, OFOR students have produced nearly 200 graduate dissertations and numerous academic articles. Preparing students at the highest level

The center is committed to supporting the next generation of researchers in agricultural commodity markets. OFOR provides scholarships to pursue graduate studies in the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics at the University of Illinois. Through these graduate programs, OFOR students receive courses specialized in our research focus.
